The OWN Trust Office Managers' Meeting took place on Thursday 5th October 2023 at Woodston Primary School, and was attended by:

The regular Office Managers' meeting is an opportunity to update office managers on finance and HR-related issues.

We discussed the upcoming internal and external audits that take place termly and annually.
We looked at the financial regulations that came into effect on 1st September 2023, which are Trust-wide procedures, and also the Academy Trust Handbook which, as a Trust, we follow as we are using public funds.

It was also a chance to update on items that have happened, for example, the upgrade to the DfE chart of accounts, and items that are going to happen, for example, training on payroll reconciliations.

The meeting gave us all a chance to get together and discuss events and ask any questions. It was a great networking opportunity.
