Staff from across the trust were invited to attend a Quiz Night hosted by Aaron Shang, Director of Learning at Nene Valley Primary School.

Six teams entered and brought food and drink to share in a communal buffet on the night. Aaron had prepared a fun and challenging quiz with a variety of rounds on different topics, including vowels, geography, brands, films, history and sport. There was even a physical task involving bean bags, which enabled one lucky team to win a cheat-sheet for the next round.

There was plenty of time to socialise during the intermission, and then it was back to answering questions as the teams battled for first place.

Congratulations to the team from Nene Valley Primary School which came first. They were presented with 1st place certificates on the night by Neil Reilly, headteacher at Nene Valley Primary School, and will each receive a prize.

Thank you so much to Aaron for all his hard work in preparing the quiz, and his skill and wit in delivering it in his role as Quiz Master. He has already offered to host again next year, and we look forward to returning for more head-scratching questions and entertainment.
