SEN Link Meeting

On Thursday 11th November 2021, the bi-annual meeting of SENCos and Link Governors within the OWN Trust took place to discuss the SEND profile in each school, current priorities and any links that can be made across the Trust. Due to current Covid guidance, the meeting took place virtually.
The meeting was attended by Mary Foreman (OWN Trust Chair of Trustees), Jan Neish (OWN Trust Governance & Compliance Manager), Linda Harries (Orton Wistow Primary School SENCo), Adam Green (Orton Wistow Primary School SEN Link Governor), Carly Pearson (Nene Valley Primary School SENCo), Sadie Wiles (Nene Valley Primary School Link SEN Governor), Amanda Norman (Woodston Primary School Link SEN Governor) and Lucinda Robinson (Woodston Primary School SENCo).
Linda and Carly gave a brief overview of SEND in their respective schools. They discussed their current priorities for the coming year and any barriers to achieving these and how the Governing Body could help to support each school to remove these. Lucinda gave a brief overview of how she and Laura Hurrell (Woodston Primary School SENCo) have divided responsibilities for SEND at Woodston.
The second meeting of the year is scheduled for 28.04.2022.
