On Friday 19th May, the Orton Wistow Year Six Choir and Woodston Primary School Choir attended the Singing Schools event at the Big Top venue at the Peterborough Celebrates Festival in Nene Park.

The afternoon involved celebrating music, fun, well-being, and singing together. The choirs worked with professional musicians from Cambridgeshire Music Hub, and they learned new celebratory songs for a public performance to family and friends at the end of the event.

The afternoon was a success. All the children sang enthusiastically and performed on stage with beaming smiles!

Each school performed its own song. Orton Wistow sang 'I Can't Stop The Feeling' by Justin Timberlake. The whole audience danced and sang along. Woodston sang and signed a beautiful rendition of 'What a Wonderful World' by Louis Armstrong.
